Honeypot Details

The honey pots are a way to play for an additional prize during the event. These are totally optional and you are not under any obligation to participate. You are a member of the tournament and will play for all the tournament prizes just as though the Honey Pots didn’t exist.

But we know people like to play for a little more - so we have created this opportunity.

Each player will put $75 into the pot before the first round begins. This is basically $25 per day. From this, we will award prize money to the top 25% of each flight and division each day. These are not cumulative - these are based on a single day’s play. The person who wins the cumulative will already get a great prize - this allows those who may not make the final, or win a prize during the week - to take home a little something from Las Vegas.

(NOTE: YOU MUST ENTER PRIOR TO THE FIRST HOLE ON MONDAY OR YOU CAN’T ENTER THE HONEY POT).

Last Chance Tournament

Several people have asked about the Last Chance event at the Vegas World Am - and we felt we should explain a little more about the reason to do it, and how you can participate.

First, the why!

We guarantee 20% of the field a chance to play in the finals - this year held at Royal Links. Among those 20% are likely players that travelled to the tournament with other players who didn’t make the finals and might be looking for a place to play on the fourth day. This is that option.

Here is how it works.

Each player can sign up for the Last Chance event separately from the Vegas World Am proper. The entry fee is $90 - and $10 of the will be put into a prize fund with a payout made to the top three finishers. That said - you don’t have to. This is totally optional.

That said - you will need to sign up as early as possible so we can have a fairly accurate count for the good folks at Royal Links.

Now, what if you sign up for the last chance, but you also make the Finals?

No worries, play the finals as part of the tournament and we will refund your $90. No problem.
